Does Installer use APT
Yes, but not in the same way other package managers use APT. Installer has a completely sandboxed APT environment which means we can use APT even on rootless jailbreaks whereas package managers such as Cydia will not work on Rootless jailbreaks without significant patches.

Does Installer work alongside other package managers
Yes Installer can run completely standalone or alongside any other package managers, its completely upto you.

Can I transfer my existing sources from other package managers?
Installer supports the ability to import your sources from any of your existing package managers, as well as back up your sourcelist to your AppTapp account Source import is currently supported for Cydia, Zebra and Sileo.

Does AppTapp record user data?
AppTapp logs some data to provide some services such as most downloaded, search suggestions. If you log in to your AppTapp account we will sync your wishlisht, user data provided at signup, avatar, and related information. See our privacy policy. If you want your account to be removed and all data to be destroyed please follow the appropriate action on the forum.

How do I get Installer
Add our repository to your existing package manager and install it as you would any other package, support for installing directly through the checkra1n loader app is planned.

Do I need to be jailbroken?
Yes, Installer is a packager for jailbroken iDevices, you can jailbreak any pre-iPhoneX with checkra1n and depending on iOS version you may be able to jailbreak later devices using tools such as Unc0ver. You are also able to run a sandboxed version of Installer for testing purposes on non-jailbroken versions, but this obviously means installations and certain database functions do not work as expected.
