Most important changes​
UI & UX changes
  • New queueing system
Installer now has a brand new beautifully designed queueing screen which vastly improves the user experience when using the queue.

  • New queueing system for packages

Crashes fixed

  • Fixed crash when emptying the queue due to the queueView
  • Fixed crash caused by a null description when scrapping html depiction

Other Fixes:

  • Fixed conflicting and inconsistent constraints
  • Fixed dark mode in setup screen
  • Fixed dependencies, conflicts detection when there is no space after a comma
  • Fixed update disappearing after an app relaunch
  • Fixed provides not working
  • Fixed update priorities which caused an issue where a package and it’s dependencies were both updated and the package depended on the new dependency version

Known issues

  • Share button (...) may not work properly at times, and may cause a crash.
  • Status: Cause known, fix incoming

  • GetZebra repository does not work, we are looking into the problem. This is no intentional block.
  • Status: Investigating

Installer Prefs

Installer Prefs is a (at the moment standalone) preference tool which makes it easier for everyone to debug issues & report them to us.
It offers 3 options

  • Send Logs: This will automatically get the relevant logs, upload them to psty.io, and offer the user a way to share them with us.​
  • Remove Source Folder: Removes all source files from the database. This can be useful in case an issue related to sources.​
  • Reset Files: This drops the entire Installer database, and should fix crashes which could occur if the database becomes corrupted​

Please note: The last two options have been included just in case, you should not need them.​
