We just released Installer RC12 to our beta testers on Discord. This update should be the latest release before the planned public release.

  1. Added CroudIn to important links
  2. Added new properties to ATRPackage and updated the database schema
  3. Added smother navigation content transition to the depiction view
  4. Added support for showing up to 100 new/updated packages in the changes tab, this will change to showing a group of older packages from previous updates below the most recent updates
  5. Always keep input views above the keyboard
  6. Don't use old compiler dialect, and recompile PCH less
  7. Dynamic input view positioning
  8. Fixed cells remaining highlighted in Packages tableviews
  9. Fixed crash by reverting row animation changes in the manage tab to prevent some crashes
  10. Fixed issue where the Sections tab would never load if opened immediately after launch
  11. Fixed typo in the language selection list
  12. Improved source refresh (Last Refreshed) date assignment logic
  13. Package updates is now the top section in the changes tab
  14. Redesigned Changes view
  15. Removed more depreciated navigation bar code
  16. Removed support for showing new version and new packages separately until it can be fixed properly
  17. Rewrote Updated/New packages database and query logic
  18. Rewrote new and category Package caching methods

RC12-1 has been released for our beta testers.

Changelog:

  1. Add a "show All Changes" button to the bottom of the changes tab
  2. Added override for translucent navigation bar to use in some modally presented views
  3. Changes tab refactoring and design changes
  4. Disabled long press gesture in the changes tab due to scaling issues with large tables
  5. Fixed activity indicator warning, and added theming support for the indicator style
  6. Fixed crash due to nil object being inserted in an array
  7. Fixed issue with UICache not running in some instances
  8. If less than 100 changes were found in the last refresh, show an additional section in the changes tab containing changes from the previous refresh
  9. Manual coloring of the language picker cell because iOS 12uses black colors which clash with the dark themes
  10. Removed tonnes of depreciated tasks, verbose, and queue invoke methods
  11. Removed unused delegate protocols and respective conforming methods
  12. Started encapsulating nib initialization methods to clean up code
  13. Support presenting the tasks, and queue views from the AppDelegate for centralized access

Installer 5rc12-5 was just released on our beta repository. This is a major update with several new features & improvements.


Changelog:

  1. Add link to create an account in the LoginViewController
  2. Added Stores view controller for viewing commercial sources in one place
  3. Added alert to add source, if a featured package source is not installed
  4. Added options to clear the icon and screenshots cache (cache sizes will be shown in the settings view)
  5. Added support for overriding package icons with a custom url
  6. Don't rebuild caches when removing a source
  7. Fix out of range exception in the changes tab in rare instances
  8. Fixed PackagesTableViewController tint color to use installer tint color
  9. Fixed an issue where all packages from a source could show in the changes tab each time the source is refreshed
  10. Fixed banners failing to load on the Featured page
  11. Fixed crash while building package cache
  12. Fixed get buttons not updating for package task completion
  13. Fixed issue where navbar could disappear in the Account page if the swipe back gesture is canceled before completion
